Mama's Fish House First to Fund New Fish Aggregation Device (FAD)
In cooperation with Maui fishermen and the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council, Mama's Fish House launched a new FAD buoy in waters off Maui's northeast shore. The buoy is anchored to the seafloor at a depth of 15,000 ft., GPS enabled and in waters that are habitat for pelagic species of fish such as mahi-mahi.
